Description Just an assortment of bizarre elephant descendants which may or may not appear later on in the project. the two which i state are "likely accurate to canon" are ones which i'm pretty sure will be included and drawn as they appear in this image.

The only elephant pictured here which is to scale it the large one, in relation to the human silhouette it's standing by.

The sessile elephant is my favorite for how bizarre it is. It lives underwater, sitting on the ocean floor in shallow areas around or in reefs. It uses its many lobed trunk to lure small fish in, then to ensnare its prey and pull them into its mouth.

Thanks! Honestly I now think its kind of a dumb idea to give an elephant a long neck when you can just extend the trunk. Plus their heads are probably way too heavy to be supported by it.

Don't take yourself too hard, sure there are inaccuracies to science but it's still an amazing interpretation!

What is the giraffe-like species of elephant called?

Well, I never really came up with a name. It's just a little drawing I came up with when brainstorm ideas, not an official part of the project at the moment

Ok, anyway, will there be tusked dolphin-like marine-dwelling elephant descendants that fill a similar niche to fish eating whale species? That would be really awesome.

If I can make it believable. Right now, the only primarily aquatic elephant lineage I have in the works is herbivorous, so they may end up developing into more manatee-like creatures rather than whale-like. Once I do find a way to introduce carnivorous elephants into the project, I won't hesitate to start exploring the possibility of elephants developing into a true replacement for whales. Thanks for the interest!
