Bio: Born 16 years ago in the bustling city of Goldenrod only to move to Lilycove City in Hoenn after 6 years, Crystal Simone is definitely not your average kind of girl. Her father, a famous fashion designer for pokemon clothing, and her mother, a famous fashion designer for human clothing, were quite happy to finally have a daughter (and hopefully her cute pokemon) to dress up. After being used as a dress up doll for long enough, her older brother, Lycian, has suggested she start a pokemon journey. So she set off, at the age of ten, with her birthday present which doubled as a feisty Eevee, leaving her attached parents in tears. Fortunately, they got over it.

Her first journey was through the Hoenn Region mainly due to the fact she was too young to stray into another region far from her parents. After being recommended to Professor Birch, she quickly met up with her childhood friend Lena Whitaker. The both of them rekindled their friendship quickly and began their journey together.

Later on, they joined forces with Ryder Rosedale and Dillon Pierce, two boys all the way from Sootopolis City, and travel through the region.
Regions Traveled through: Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto, currently in Kanto
Personality: Unfortunately, after being a dress up doll for more than a decade of her life, it had definitely affected her personality.

Primarily, she's extremely picky about her clothes, and the clothes of the people around her. It absolutely kills her to try on clothes, so she has a critical eye in order to lessen this. If you take her shopping with you, make sure she's the critic, not the mannequin.

Crystal dislikes getting dirty and always thinks about her appearance. However, she gladly accepts all attention when on the battlefield and stage (she's a coordinator and a trainer). However, she knows she can’t win without being a good trainer. Knowing it’s not all about her skill, she treats her pokemon well. Most of her pokemon prefer pokeblocks opposed to poffins, in which she feeds them pokeblocks about 3 times a day along side with their meals.

Even though her closest friends will always be her pokemon, Crystal is somewhat of a social butterfly. She likes talking and never fails to ignore someone in a conversation, usually never directing her speech to only one person in a big crowd. She likes to joke around a lot, and is quite sarcastic. Her number one habit is definitely rolling her eyes, in which her mother and father dislike. She dislikes being insulted (who doesn’t?) and is well known for her witty (if not a bit mean) comebacks and criticism .

Pokemon: (in order of addition to party)

Glaceon (Female, Glacier): The only pokemon she actually had obtained before her journey. Glacier, as an eevee, was a birthday present from her parents when she was 9. It was rather just another dress up doll for her father opposed to anything else. Glacier actually received her name from the fact she liked to eat ice when Crystal first received her. Like her owner, she dislikes being dressed up in anything. She likes simplicity in beauty and grace. So, in other words, don't stick a bow in her fur or you'll have two bite marks on your hand. She's no longer feisty like she was when she was in her earlier evolution and really only acts up when she's being played with like a dress up doll or when someone is in danger. Otherwise, she's rather calm and extremely affectionate with her owner, Crystal.

Gengar (Male, JK): Named after the two initials to "Just Kidding", this Gengar loves playing pranks. Gengar was the first pokemon Crystal ever caught in which she caught it while on a trip visiting her brother in Kanto (this trip was rather early in her journey). Technically speaking, she didn't really defeat the Gastly, but rather was extremely kind to it and bribed it with sweets. Of course, a caught pokemon is a caught pokemon, no matter what the methods. Back to the earlier statement, JK can be quite the trickster, and plays many pranks on other trainers and their pokemon. The only exception is the rest of the team, who JK has grown accustomed too.

Alakazam (Male, Telé): Technically speaking the first pokemon Crystal had caught by battling. After desperately chasing down this one Abra, Crystal finally managed to capture this teleporting pokemon. Telé (Pronounced Tell-eh) is obviously Crystal's wisest pokemon. He's rather quite and only offers words when needed. When let outside of his ball he usually sits in the shade and plays with his spoons. A mysterious character that Crystal still hasn't figured out (even though he's been in her team for so long), Telé will still come to his owner's aid when she needs it.

Tyranitar (Male, Thistle): Found as a Larvitar, Thistle is Crystal's strongest pokemon. He is also easily Crystal's most stubborn pokemon. There's probably only four things he cares about in life: Battling/Training/Getting stronger (these are really all the same), Crystal, Food, the team. He spends most of his time training, extremely stubborn and always wanting to be the best. However, he'll always stop training if it means he can snuggle with Crystal. His best friend since 1st evolution is Burst, or Crystal's Salamance. The two have a competitive friendship, but they're definitely tight.

Salamance (Male, Burst): Caught as a Bagon, Burst was, and still is, Thistle's best friend for life. Not as stubborn as his bestie, but still rather competitive. When looking for his best friend out in the wild, he was pretty upset to find out his best friend was caught by a trainer. Like Thistle, his stubbornness led him to running away and avoiding the Larvitar. After several days, Crystal cornered the Bagon and fought the guy with his own best friend. In the end, he joined the team to forever be Burst. He's pretty proud of the fact that though he was technically speaking the second to the last person to join the team, he is now the second best.

Milotic (Female, River): The most elegant and graceful pokemon of the team. As all other Milotics, River is known for her beauty condition. River is a peaceful pokemon and rather dislikes pokemon battles. However, she is all for all in pokemon contests. She’s rather a calming pokemon, and usually stops disputes within the team (or others for that matter). She has a sophisticated air around her and awes many people with her beauty and skill. Despite the fact she’s very passive and dislikes battles, she will do whatever she can to follow orders and win for Crystal. Due to her calming nature, she’s usually summoned in dire emergencies in order to cease all panic.

Oh god. Probably the most effort I've ever put into artwork. Or making up a story. -laugh- I'm pretty satisfied on how this came out. On paper that is. I'm kind of disappointed on how it looked after being scanned, considering most of the colors were practically shot to the grave. It's pretty plain too, background wise, considering I don't have a fancy program like Photoshop to make the form a different color or really add a background.

Time Spent: 4 days (Probably 36 hours)
Media Used: Gridline 0.5 Mechanical Pencil, Eraser, Pilot V Ball Grip Extra Fine Tip Black Pen, and Crayola Color Pencils
