Vanny: For TsaoShin 's #lemonchallenge which I just wanna say was so much fun! Thank you so much for this challenge. <3

We decided to enter the lemon challenge but El Argh finished his waaaaay before me XD

Anyways, doodled my character Rhudri as a kid. She is a chimeric lunar beastial druid, which shepherd nocturnal fauna. She is very close with her mom, Jhinri, who is the awesome kind of mom people wish to have, or are very grateful to have. Rhudri can never bare the thought of upsetting her mom or hurting her feelings in any way. Her mother, however, values honesty and tries to teach Rhudri how important it is to be honest, even if it may hurt the other person.

"Rhudri, come here my dear," Jhinri beckons her daughter

Without hesitation, Rhudri fluidly scales up a tree to where her mother patiently waited," Yes, mom?"

"Have you ever tried a lemon," Jhinri asked presenting the odd looking slice of a fruit.

Shaking her head, Rhudri sniffed the lemon, causing her salivating glands to immediately start flooding. Wiping drool from her mouth, Rhudri looked up at her mom.

"Would you like to try it," Her mom asked

Excitedly, Rhudri nodded and grabbed the tiny fruit. No shyness or delay, she shoved the slice into her mouth. Immediately she regretted it. Tears swelled up in her eyes and saliva pooled in and out of her mouth. Quickly she turned around away from her mom and pulled the lemon out. Her face felt like it was going to suck into itself so hard, it would blip out of existence.

A smile beamed on Jhinri's face, "How's the lemon?"

Muffling her coughs as best as she could, Rhudri tried to keep the best "normal" composer she possibly could, "It's... slurrrrp greAATE... sllurk mom..." Cringing at the thought of having to finishing the lemon, Rhudri shoved it back into her mouth. The thought of hurting her mother's feelings was so much worse.

Jhinri chuckled softly knowing full well of Rhudri's agony. Tonight's lesson: Dishonesty only leads to suffering.
