anyway , it is physically impossible to shoot a gatling with a high caliber at high RPM, they usually shoot at 3 500 rpm and they are usually .30 or 7.62 or even bigger . the fastest speed someone can shoot would be at 1 200 RPM which is the speed of the MG42 and at that speed the need of a gatling gun ain't necessary and specially if the gatling weight around 60 Kg

That is, unless it is mounted (in which case that doesn't count) or attached to something like an mechanized exoskeleton of combat armor (not yet non-experimental).  Good point.

to give you a idea, in the movie resident evil, the actor playing Nemesis what quite a tall and strong man, they gave him a black firing custom arm gatling , it was in 9mm cal blank if i remember..............the first time he tried it in full gear he almost felt by the recoil

the recoil of a blank gun, not even shooting real bullet,
