WELLY WELLY WELL. This is my character Robin, a bit of a teaser since most of you guys haven't really seen her. I seriously love how this turned out xD I was practicing with color schemes for the first time, and seriously love this. My friend Kristen showed me the song of which the lyrics come from, Oh, Darling by Plug in Stereo featuring Cady Groves
I friggin' love it XD I've had it on repeat for the past few days.Sososo, I would seriously appreciate it if you guys critiqued! Trying out a bit of a new style, maybe a bit more cartoony, I'm not sure. I seriously love the lips, omg xD I can never do lips.

Alright, I'll start off by saying that the overall vision of this piece is very eye-catching. I was definately surprised that this was a piece by you, since it isn't your normal style. I absolutely ADORE the simplistic style this was done in. The lack of shading and eyes helps bring out the best features such as the hair and lips. I also think the speech bubble's wording should have been done slightly different. Maybe you should have tried a different font/style of writing to make it a bit more interesting.
The originality is fairly good, though I've seen things like this before. The color scheme is fairly played out and used a good amount also, though in no way am I saying it is a bad one.
The technique! This is probably the best piece, drawing-wise from you. I love the look of the hair and lips especially. Like I said before, the simple colors and style gives me a feeling for the drawing that extra shading would not have. The lips have a certain upward turning that makes me smile, though I don't really know why. Ahah~
The inpact is quite hard to judge. Though I did get a certain feeling of what the picture is about, I cannot say that this piece really drew me in. It needs more emotion. I need to be able to know and feel your emotion through it. I don't know. Am I making sense?

Yeah, I get what you mean about the writing. It was such a pain in the ass to figure out how to put the writing in there and it was just so...UGH! Frustrating as hell.
Yeah, I was kinda surprised to find something like this come out of me too, but I had the image in my head when I was planning out how I wanted to do this >v< I think when I do color scheme pictures, they're all gonna be line-less and relatively like this style. I really like how this came out, personally.
Yeah, I didn't really put emotion into it, I was thinking more like image rather than emotion, hahah :3
See, I was going to put an eye in originally, but I added it in and it just didn't look right >.<; So I left it out
