The body itself doesn't seem long enough, grown-up wolves in real life aren't that short.

Even though the wolves were drawn to be huge creatures in Princess Monoki, they were still evenly drawn...

I'm not sure you clicked my link. A "maned wolf" is not the same as a "wolf"; it is a completely different species with unusually elongated legs.Β
