It was a long night. Foolish person that I am, I hardly got the inking done by Thursday this week. So my entire weekend was a mad dash to finished comicdom (this is becoming a trend). Oh, well. At least for now I'm done with that dang brick wall.Anyway. It seems like a lot to do for such a little joke, but there it is the final setup page for the Dreamers storyline. Now we finally get to the good part. And what could be the good part of a storyline called Dreamers? I'll let you figure that out.

There needs to be like a constant joke runnign where every time you see the tank it has totally different, totally weird fish. Like the Ronald McDonaldfish.

That's true, if Mort was a dumb ass I think that the comic would lose out, he adds the grounding to the gang. The sarcastic deeply cynical grounding.

Gar and Mac sure have warmed up to each other quickly, after only knowing each other for about a year (less than that knowing she was a female). Is there some kind of romantic undertone to it. (i know you don't tend to include a romance aspect to your stories, that's why i ask).

If there isn't in the comic, there are alot of people who wish there were. And I like for people to wonder about such things. It helps to make the characters deeper to have such possibilities. Even stranger are the Mort/Posey relationship fans.

i just had a thought. maybe Mort could be working on a device and accidentally looking into a possible future and seeing himself having a family with Posey. He'd never be able to even look at her again.

Personally I've always loved the scribbly ink style. It's one of the reasons I like the comic so much. Just me though.

well ya that's my scribble style. If you look a bit back in my gallery there's some examples of it. Even the comic that got a DD was not inked. while I don't mind it for something on the side, I don't really like it for an official comic update. But then again, I'll be playing with the style here soon (like I did for the Halloween arc), so maybe I'll give it a shot.
