It's cool how images from modern entertainment can become cultural symbols all around the world. The image of a cowboy riding on an atomic bomb was a part of both of our lives before we even watched movie.

As I said before, Kubrick's styles and expressions have influenced media and culture around the world, he was a great director. Did you know that he wanted to direct A.I. before he died? Spielberg messed it up, haha!

Although "A.I." was the movie which went wrong in US inside, it made a smashing success in Japan (Gross revenue:9,700,000,000Yen). This movie was seen, and the Japanese who like a humanity tale were impressed, shedding tears. I don't like it. That child is metal and a computer program after all.

Kubrick probably could have made the robots seem much more emotional and dramatic as he did with HAL in 2001. With Spielberg as director, everything in the movie was just a novelty, something fun to look at.
