this peice is truly maginificant the colours are so complementry the caccoon shape around the butterfly the warm colour truly give this feeling of new life this is truly one of the best works ive seen in a very long time

Mine are the same. Play around until an image says "pick me." Then fix the colors et voila.

Actually most of the wallpapers have no postwork at all - it's the framed prints that get the postwork

This brings up a point I've been meaning to make about several of your works. You usually frame your manipulation pieces. You include the name of the work, your artist's signature, and often other enhancements and flourishes. I have noticed that you occasionally get comments even about the fonts you use. I just want to say that I find your framing to be unusually effective in most cases. You clearly put thought into providing a finished looking piece. Did you start doing this to make for standard print sizing or have you always approached your work this way?

Actually my account used to be exclusively for photography - then someone introduced me to photoshop. I always wanted to have a way to frame my photos - for the polished complete effect. Now I frame everything with the exception of wallpaper (annoying and distracting on the desktop I find).
I do put a lot of thought into the framing - mainly because I know it can easily make a dev look incredible or crappy - depending on thickness, matting etc etc.
There was a dd feature on a framing tutorial - it is now something that I follow with each work.
There are so many custom patterns and fonts on dA - I like to make use of them
