this is a visual representation of my feelings about Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight "Saga" by Stephenie Meyer..................yeah.
the book sucked.
it was as if they asked some random person to read the first three books and then write the crappiest fan-fiction they could possibly come up with as the fourth one.
a few of the many reasons it sucked: ((SPOILERS))
1) everyone was out of character.
2) the plot was stupid and weirdly sci-fi. (what with the mutant vampire baby slowly sucking the life out of its mother)
3) Meyer clearly stated that vampires have NO bodily fluid except venom (i.e. no sperm! she's breaking her own rules)
4) Edward turning into a psycho wimp during Bella's pregnancy.
5) Bella suddenly becoming this mature, motherly saint.
6) Ridiculous sex. I repeat. Ridiculous sex.
7) Jacob imprinting on the baby?!?! WTF?
8) "Renesme"....Nothing further is needed here.
9) Meyer always makes it out to seem like everyone's going to die.........and no one important ever dies.
10) "my brother, my son" o_o
11) REALLY anit-climactic climax.
12) cheesey, everybody's happy ending.

---how perfectly sue-ish Bella was as a vamp
---I got a serious \"Demonic-and-perfect-child-that's-gonna-turn-on-everyone-and-take-over-the-world\"--vibe with that stupid and sickening baby just because of how alluring she was to everyone
---the horrible simple-sentence writing
---unnecessary characters
---Meyer took a serious turn away from her theme and message completely.
---the special things about the romance between the two was completely lost.
---there was no sacrifice for that stupid happy ending (struggle and sacrifice are two different things)

don't tell me you liked it because i don't care that you liked it. as far as i'm concerned, anyone who liked it has terrible taste in literature and apparently didn't read the first three books in the series.
sorry to be harsh. don't take it personally.

at the time that i made this animation, and wrote all of the above comments, i was still under the impression that the other books in Meyer's series were good.

Don't get me even started on how werewolves can imprint on half vampires with they being sworn enemies.
If there a teeny bit of logic, edwards semen would have turned bella on their first night on isle esme. And how much semen does a vampire store anyway to continue procreating ???
The venom can burn off lenses in minutes ... but ohh noo not the precious baby making serum to breed magical fairytale spawns

THANK YOU!! finally some understands god when first read twilight i was like"ok maybe she going somewhere with this?" than...POOF...nothing the other books were a major disapointment
and the fan girls are scarier than the vampires and werewolves in the story.

I'd like to prove you wrong
1)i'd say everyone was still in character. i mean ya they were strained but thats to be expected when they think someone is dieing.
2) yes the baby causeing the mother's death is a little cliche but it does match vampire instincts
3) she also stated that vampires themselves didnt know everything about themselves so its perfectly reasonable for that to happen
4) edward didnt really turn into a phyco he just showed how much he cared about bella put up to max volume
5) Bella was always mature and even in real life many girls become very motherly when reality slaps them into perspective
6) they had to make it pg 13 for younger underage kids but also extreme enough to keep older kids attention but yes the sex was a little weird
7) Jacob's friend imprinted on a 2 year old so why couldnt he imprint on a new born
8) i like the name Renesme
9) a lot of books do this not just twilight. harry potter was suppose to die almost every book but he never did
10) ok ya that is a little wierd
11) the climax does need some work but it wasnt as bad as a few others i know
12) not everyones happy ending. one vampire sister did die

Hon, I hate to rain on your "proving me wrong" parade, but I'm all Breaking-Dawn-argued out. Sorry. You're about two years too late. At this point I don't care anymore. You can like Breaking Dawn, and the whole Twilight series, all you want. I'm retired from my Anti Breaking Dawn Crusader days.
However, I do appreciate that you took the time to actually read through my whole rant up there(as opposed to people who just comment with a "I liked it, you suck.") That takes dedication.

sorry im a bit late. i was thinking since the movie was coming out and since the next book is comeing out i'd check out the stuff people would come up with for the book or movie.

my view she tried to escape the weird fans and basically bullshitted as much as she could(i just dont want to get mad at the author so excuses excuses excuses!)first three we're actually good but forth was complete crap and the movies dont make it any better i know it sounds like i hate it but i actually like twilight but i mostly love her other work the host that book was really good i kinda was hoping for something better and i mean it was mostly everyone freaking out about bella and pregnant hormones not enough of actual fighting and dialogue

I was so excited for the fight scene at the end. I was like, "YEAHH, someone's getting their ass whooped!" Then...nothing. I was like, "GIVE ME MY FREAKIN' FIGHT SCENE!" Their fight is literally talking. What's epic about that?!

Looks like Meyer's story could have come out from fanfic.net. However, I see some of fanfic writers who had written better stories and for free.

Ugh, exactly what I was thinking. I spent a whole entire day reading it and I really was expecting a lot from this book, and it just let me down, no it did worse then that, it let me fall of of a cliff. I literally threw the book out the window and onto a busy street so it would get run over, but I'm guessing it never did because of how ridiculously huge it was.
Anyway, this book should definitely not be called Breaking Dawn, it should be called "Bella gets owned by a Vampire in bed, magically gets pregnant by vampire venom, almost dies when Nessie rips out of her, turns into a vampire, and oh, NOBODY DIES THE END"

I couldn't even read the final book after finding out about Jacob and Nessie the Lochness Spawn. I couldn't even finish Eclipse after that. I personally think the fame got to Meyers head so she wrote a crappy ending to it. Also now that I think about it, vampires that sparkle....I can't believe she actually wrote that. Instead of vampires it should have been fairies. Makes more sense than sparkling vampires and she wouldn't have ruined famous vampire movies and books. Like Bram Stoker's Dracula or Interview with a Vampire which were just amazing. I feel sorry for the actors who have to portray these characters in the movies. Especially Robert Pattinson considering he broke up with Kristen Stewart and now they have to do the ridiculous sex scene.... Don't know where I was going with that but I'm extremely disappointed with this vampire series

Personally I just laughed for like the entire book. And a long time afterwards. It sounded even more like it was written by a psychotic 12-year-old than the others.

idk how to responde to the book the small overly girlish side of me that balences my personality liked it but the practical side that appretiates well written literature that creates complex worlds that draw u in competely ...well didnt was confused th entire time reading it (i read it outside on the deck mostly and often voiced my cofusion the neighbors were very conerned as to why i was arguing with a book) this plot didnt fit the story it was like a fanfic on crack but ....it was sweet "shut up girly side" "no i liked it""i dont care u like dimestore trshy romance novels to i had to pop my eyes out with a spoon after the last one u dont get to talk anymore *** gags girly dez*** "mmmmmmhhh mmmhhh" "wa wa" anyways my practical side which is dlminnt agrees with u but i find it amusing in a bad for my mental health sort of way

Thank you. I am late on this subject but I am grateful to have come across this forum. No truer words or images have come across my computer screen. I just finished my agonizing journey from Twilight through Breaking Dawn..I believe I actually choked, sputtered and gaped when reading the section about the birth of Bella's demon child..a reaction that has never over taken me in all my years as an avid scifi reader

Steph kinda lives in a Teletubbies world. She should buy a dictionnary and check the word "sacrifice" and "reality" to write better books.
Yeah, I hate BD just as much as you XD
Though I still enjoy the way she writes about love (I should mention "the host" book), her happy ending disorder gets on my nerves. It's juste too bad cause she's good at writing about pain and sadness too.
Best animation in the world, anyway !
