The moon has been one of the greatest inspirations the world has ever known.Poets, song writers, artists of every calibers have used and been touched by it.
Yet it doesn't have a name.
Every other moon, planet, a star possess the name of a god or goddess, a nod to mythologies long
gone.
Yet this closest most lovely of symbols goes without.
I know what I would name it; I know though that she would scoff at the notion.
Yet she embodies everything the moon gives to the artists of the world.
Beauty, skill, wisdom, inspiration, passion, kindness, love, and a quiet humbleness,.
The person I know possesses a humbleness no mortal has.
Perhaps it is this humbleness that leaves the moon without name.
Perhaps it needs no name for its touch speaks for its self.
Yet I believe I have the perfect name for it.
