Description Just a small shot of part of 's New Series Skarloey layout. This particular part reminds me of the Classic Series "Bluebell Line", which I personally retconned as a line going down to the Wharf and they wanted Stepney to help run the standard gauge part during his visit. Better than what Alcroft and Mitton did imo, but then again, no one will really care. "I have no sense of continuity."

Which season did this area appear in? Or is in just some fanmade filler?

You're right this is quite like the Season 4 Blue bell railway

I hate to bump 3 year old comments but that's exactly the case apparently. According to the new map that was released last Autumn it's on the TV series version of the Bluebell Railway- which they now call Bluebell Valley

I suppose the writers back when Season 12 was out weren't complete numbskulls. I read that Andrew Viner, who penned two eps that season, actually LOVES the Railway Series and often read Stepney the Bluebell Engine to his own children. Shame he actually had no hand in the writing of The Man in the Hills. Seemed like it'd be right up his alley, given it's along Stepney's Branchline. I think if Andrew Brenner brought him aboard the current writing team he could potentially write much better stories himself- what with the guidelines from the old era now loosened up.

Ah fair enough. Still interesting to know this and I actually think with adventure begins; it'd be a great chance to just reboot the entire series and start from scratch as it would certainly give the writers less issues to plaster over. Some of hits new characters just weren't that likable to begin with and that gives the writers the awkward job of trying to make them likable without changing them too much. I just think a reboot of the whole thing would be extraordinary as they clearly have a lot more flexibility this time around as the model series did have budget issues etc.Β Ha mind you I'm not really the sort to mind replies to really old comments if they aren't related to an argument; no one likes to be reminded of a dead fall-out with another user; so it's fine by me manΒ Β

That was the classic Bluebell. This particular scene came from Season 12's Man in the Hills and it looks a bit like the Classic Bluebell imo.
