Yes and no. We don't know if the magazines are canon to the TV series, and yet everything in the TV series appears in the magazines.
When Godred appeared in an activity in one magazine, he was red here, and it was a naming ceremony TFC was attending for what they claimed was a "new engine". So, judging by the wording, it's definitely a new build of Godred.
