The Citadel is structured in vertical.
The higher part (not shown here) is the Silk City, a gigantic hardy spiderweb structure constructed on the giant trees' branches. It is always changing depending on the climate conditions: when the weather is mostly humid, structures get moved to the strongest branches or on the trunk itself to avoid accidental collapses, while during dry times it expands as much as possible to favor the circulation of fresh air. It is inhabited by both Magnaraks and people.

The middle part is not inhabited and is mostly made of strong webs, used both as security and as connection between the high and low parts. Under the Silk City there's an large tubular web that goes down to the bottom of the Citadel and is connected and secured to all the trees. The outer part consists of big net-like webs that surround the whole Citadel, guarded and patrolled constantly to avoid dangers for the citizens.

The lower ground part is placed in a very wide pit, surrounded by the colossal trees, from which is possible to access the Maze. Most people live on the ground and goods are stored in big buildings or in the caves. The tree's roots act as roads to reach the Forest's ground level. Citadel's Plaza is placed right under the tubular web.

Under the Citadel there are a bunch of caves, but most importantly there's Arakne's Crypt. This place is not accessible to most citizens, but it's considered a temple by many.

Outside of the Citadel there are more or less indipendent settlements and various other web-shields.
