This is a very old character, it's been a long time since I drew him :v I did not even put him a name, so I'll just put him one now: Flinn.
By the way he is a cat with wings.

I really like this piece, both because of the striking colors and lighting, and because of the very realistic and textured fur. The long ears being so high and close together makes the eyes being very close together for an ordinary cat look better compositionally. I like how the eyes are so close together, actually. It gives a very unique and slightly strange physique that really sets him apart, without falling into the uncanny valley and becoming weird looking. I'm also really impressed with the realism of the whiskers. Those are definitely one of the hardest aspects to get right...too much and it looks bad, too little and it looks just as bad, but you have enough to look really real without being overwhelming, and it adds a lot of character.

I really actually liked the way the ears were so tall and straight! It reminded me of the depictions of ancient Egyptian cat breeds, their ears are also very close and straight looking, and it has a regal look to it that definitely works here 
Whiskers are extremely hard. I've tried to draw the super long whiskers on rats, and it always gives me such a challenge, so I'll have to use this picture as inspiration for that

Thank you very much for the compliment on the fur , I was trying a new technique, and drawing the texture of the face in particular is a little complicated I'm glad you like it, I really feel that I should improve it, I do not see it that well
Hehe what makes it a bit difficult with the whiskers to me is how long they must be, many times I tend to exaggerate them
