Actually not, in the show i think before that EP we see a little girl with Rory hair color without parents when find a man and say she is sick but will be fine regenerating ,she was melody so her hair was not actually dark when kid just when she regenerated o3o

Love how you captured how tall and slender they all are too. River's a bit of a genetic call back to her grandparents (both sets- although she's taller than her grandmothers by several inches, she's more regular build like her grandparents, and shorter than her parents by several inches.)
