I keep looking at these shots from Oz, and wondering if the colour was really like this. It was, intensely saturated. One reason is that this is much more near the equator than we are in the UK, and so the Sun is that bit more powerful.

Many thanks, kind sir! I was blown away by this cove - absolutely stunning scenery and flora and fauna. I need to go back and spend a lot more time. This area was too far from our destination that day to spend more than 30 minutes...but that's the way it goes.

No doubt about it, Tara - stunning is the word - and deserted. Good point about the sharks - I don't know if they come around this part. The whole of the southern coast along the Great Ocean Road is a favourite for surfers, so I wonder if there is a shark problem.
