Okavanga β€” Fire in the Sky 2

Description Not your usual IR shot, but taken with an R72 filter on my Panasonic Lumix. The sky was actually just dull grey with almost no differentiation in the clouds. However, IR light suggest something different!

Frightening.
The 1961 film Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea's fiery burning sky comes to mind.

I'm sort of hanging fire here!! But, it is an effect worth knowing about - grey day not much light, but bring out the iR camera and hey presto a skyfire!
