Can I write a critique again! Hehe! XD It's always a pleasure to view, rate and comment your artwork, Shinsei-Sensei! Ok, I'll start!

First off, I clicked on it right away as soon as I saw it in my inbox. What drew me to it was the fact that light was surrounded by darkness, which looks SICK!

Anyway, I just LOVE how you painted the rain slapping against the ground and walls. It's very effective Sensei, it sets quite a calming mood in fact. I also sooper-like the guardians at the doorway, poised to strike. Shadows are right, and so is the pelting rain! Also, I like the lightning of the doorway and window are perfect, and the shadow of the figure is correctamundo!

Slapping rain mixed with giant stone guardians and a mysterious place creates a bowl of visual dessert. I have seen VERY few pictures like this (one or two) but the way you expressed it is very creative and unqiue. Your technique is VERY different from the rest Sensei (not in a bad way!) but one that gives you a jawdrop.

All in all, I enjoyed viewing this piece and critiquing it. Lovely lovely work, Shinsei-Sensei!
