Thankyou! Trees are super hard! It's because I never really do backgrounds but hopefully someday I'll be good at them as it makes everything pop out more with backgrounds!
Also I see you draw with watercolours quite often, I love it! Is it possible to lineart a drawing and then go with watercolours over it or would the lines get all blurred? (Maybe you have experience with it)

Ah I'm'sure you will! Just gotta keep on truckin' on backgrounds with all that practise! (I'm one to talk. I need to do a few BG pieces next year xD )
I actually do just that! I have a waterproof pen set and I would highly recommend them as normal pen smears most of the time. First I sketch on copy paper. Then trace it to the watercolour paper (This is so my scribbles won't ruin the paper underneath and washes come out nice and clean) After its traced I go over it in pencil one time to check everything is in place, and then I ink it all. After all my washes etc I sometimes go back over the lines just to make sure they're nice and clean. c: I hope that helps!

Oh I recently bought those faber castell pens but I don't think they are waterproof but they are permanent?
What kind of pens do you use? c:
