... And yes I am still pretty much destroyed even though I haven't even SEEN it yet (saving it to watch with Donya back in Newport) that they censored out the part where Sanji gets stabbed by Absalom in episode 395- apparently he just falls over.

I weep. I may even have to animate it myself, I mean, come on, it's practically the SaNa moment of the century and it's KOSHA! >.< Censors make no sense- Zoro bleeds to death in almost every fight he gets into, Luffy gets massive internal haemoraging, practically everyone else gets shot to pieces at some point, fine, but when someone gets stabbed in a very dramatic and moving moment THEY EDIT IT OUT?!

Yea, I noticed they edited the knife handle out...I think Toei thinks that the actual depiction of a stabbing with a knife is a bit too much. Then again, Luffy and Robin got impaled by Crocodile's hook, Zoro sliced his own shins, Nami stabbed herself with a knife....I dunno what they are thinking. It really isn't important if the knife is visible or not, we all know Sanji got stabbed. At least I think that is what they are thinking.

Censors aren't put on this earth to make sense, and when it's something as wacky as One Piece (which tends to have some pretty creative violence which leaves them with the 'if there was any way we could edit that we would but....O_o?! ) So when they see a scene that is some pretty cut-and-dry violence (someone getting stabbed) it's something they can edit even if it cuts out a good chunk of character development.
But anyway, all of these are awesome in their own way. Love the outline of Chopper and Sanji threatening someone with an orange.
