It wasn't so much that the game was boring but the fact that I could never get into the big alliances out in Null Sec Space. Hell I couldn't get even into Eve University Alliance because my character was too old and they only want noobs to mold and fashion in their image. You can only do so much in Eve Online as a solo player. This game does not reward solo players at all. That and losing big ass ships became real pain in the ass to replace when you don't have anymore money to work with. Plus most of the community is very male and very hostile. Over all the game has great vistas and cool ships but it's game-play and community needs a lot of work before I ever go back to it.

Does GoonSwarm still rule Null-Sec space? Can people still war deck your corporation and blow up all your ships up into nothingness?? Do you need to sign up from some outside forum and do a million different registration rules and interviews process in order to get into the Big alliances??? I would love to play Eve-Online again just to see the spaceships and vistas but the downfall of being unemployed is that I have no money of my own to do what I want, when I want. Hell, I can't even pay for Core membership on deviantART! So no, everything I've read about Eve Online says very little has changed. Sorry, no offense intended.

Sorry I don't mean to undermine your gaming experience with Eve Online. I always kind of dreamed of going back to Empire Space and gathering all the free capsuleer pilots and solo corporations into one massive alliance. Then throw a crazy Kitchen sink fleet together combined with my clone's maximum leadership and fleet skills and destroy all the pirate ambush small gang fleets in low sec empire space. Then make my way to null sec and carve out a tiny slice of it and become self-sustaining. But that is just a mad-man's dream. It could never work, right?

Good to know. Maybe I'll see you on the flip-side. Doing mind numbing mining out rocks or blowing up mission rats. Though honestly my best money after losing my Navy Raven Caldari Battleship(which I never recovered from because insurance never covers all your losses. ) was scavenging and salvaging other people's loot left behind. Sometimes you find some good stuff. It's slow work but once I found a cyber implant worth over 15 million ISK!

EvE is so... EvE! After some time it becomes Excel-simulator. But just for time! I play it 6 or 7 years, but only for 3-4 months in a year
