Description I decided not to add these to the matchbox collection picture as they're part of a different range.

In the foreground is Duke of Connaught, which has neither a tender nor a coupling, and if photos are anything to go by, it looks like it never did. I bought this model from a car boot sale, I think it was Saddington but it may have been Wicksteed. The engine is a little bit bigger than N gauge.

Behind him/her/it is Stephenson's Rocket. This model is a bit more recent. I got it for Christmas 2004 and I'd say it's about HO scale. It scales up quite nicely with the ERTL Thomas models, so if you ever want to remake King of the Railway in ERTL, you've got your Stephen right there.

There's at least one other railway engine in this range, an American style 4-4-0. It's roughly in scale with the Duke of Connaught. EDIT: There is also another; a Great Eastern (?) 2-4-0 complete with a low-loader. (image available here: www.vectis.co.uk/AuctionImages… ) SO MUCH WANT!

I have both of those, though my Rocket doesn't have the black details.

I got a Duke myself! Though the firebox door on it was missing when I found it.

Sorry, not selling 'em. You'll have to buy Take 'n' Play Stephen and Emily and just pretend. :3

Darn it.

They'll turn up in a garage sale down here one day.
