Isn't Jane Austen great? Thank you, and I'm glad you like it. I do enjoy this version of P&, but I prefer the 1995 BBC/A&E one with Colin Firth. Have you seen it?

Yes! She is definitely my favorite writer No, I haven't seen it! I only've watched this new version.I didn't know if the 1995 version was good. It's a drama in 6 episodes, right? It's difficult to find it here.. I'll see if I can find a site where I can watch it...Do you know if at the BBC site they have the episodes? I saw it here but it seems there are only parts of it and my computer is not donwloading it, oh God... Well, I'll try it here! X3

Yes, it's a six-part BBC drama. They don't have it available for viewing on their site that I know, though, unfortunately for you. Amazon.com sells it, and they ship world-wide, right?

It's much truer to the book, if that is of any importance to you. I'm unfortunately a stickler for being faithful to the novel...

Yes, I haven't found it in the BBC site, but I've seen the DVD! My father bought it in Amazon (yeah they ship world-wide, thank God ), and it is really much truer to the book than the 2005 one. I loved it, it's perfect! Well, since they had more time, they could make it more like the novel than the movie. It's much better, though I liked the movie version too. The actor and actresses are awesome in the drama, they're perfect! I think the only one I preferred in the movie was Mr. Collins, I don't know why, but I liked the one of the movie better... I was very impressed with Colin Firth's acting! He was exactly like the Darcy I imagined. I want to see all the episodes again Thank you for the advice, I loved the drama very much!

Me too, for me this is very important. The adaptations must be faithful to the novel or I just can't watch them. I undestand when they can't put some details on the movies and series, but I can't stand when they change the course of the story or when they don't put an important character.

Glad to hear that you liked it, but I agree with you that I really liked Tom Hollander's Mr. Collins. That's interesting that you'd say that, and I also prefer Rosamund Pike as Jane. Other than that I think the 1995 version is just about perfect!
