This series might better be titled, "Day at the Utah Salt Flats," a huge flat dry lake bed of mineral salts. I can imagine a young girl, tourist, going very skimpy to get an intense dose of sun. Then our villain chloroforms her and takes her into his hideout in a mountain cave, not too far away. Search "Bonneville Salt Flats," and check images. You'll see what I mean.

I'd love to collaborate on a story with you. Idea: Very religious Mormon girl goes to the Salt Flats, and dresses down to the very, very skimpy. Lonely, very horny recluse sees her and kidnaps her, takes her to a cave complex to force her to be his "wife." After lots of threats, intimidation, mind-control, and physical abuse, she "accepts" his marriage proposal. He obtains a virginal-white wedding dress over the internet, and "marries" her in the middle of the desert wilderness. The story could go any number of places after that. Rescue? Escape? She gets brainwashed and willingly becomes his wife--and the mother of his children in this remote place? Or maybe he just keeps her for a while, one of may little rape toys he kidnaps, enjoys, and disposes of.
I write well. And, incidentally, I know that part of the desert. Answer back on messaging if you're interested, and we can discuss further ideas.
I think your "Riley" character would be ideal. On the other hand, you've used her in a number of stories already. I have a few ideas for an original character, depending on what you can render. If you like my idea, do some research on the real-life experiences of young "Elizabeth Smart," who was kidnapped in this part of the American west.
