I feel that had the model's expression been more comfortable that it would've drawn in the viewer much more. You say in your description about summer feelings etc. but, since, for me, summer is a very happy and expressive time of year, I don't happen to feel that atmosphere or emotion at all.
It's a shame too. It's just because of her expression that it came out this way. It's beautifully shot otherwise. The styling and photograph as a whole is just brilliant.
