Well, my dear followers, I cannot resist anymore!!! I HAVE to show you the first finished drawings of my new series!!!
For now I will do a few artworks which show Sir Daniel Fortesque in the real world! I got inspired by some deviations called "Ponies in real life". The difference is that I don't use vectors, but draw myself!
Hope you enjoy my stuff!

I decided to take Sir Dan to Ambras castle in my town. We have a special exhibition there, called "Kunst- und Wunderkammer" (chamber of art and curiosities). I think he seems very amazed by all those artworks, especially the portrait of the guy with the injured eye catched his attention! But I think Daniel does not know who the man in the lower painting is: it shows Vlad III Tepes, better known as Vlad the Impaler. Bram Stoker got inspired by Vlad's patronymic the for the name of the main character in his novel "Dracula". I'm very proud that this painting is exhibited in my town

Oh yes, I had problems with History in school since I remember. Especially with dates... For me they're just dry facts, so I always forget about them quickly.

Phew, I thought you can start calling me an ignorant or so... To remember something well I have to imagine that - for example, when I learnt about muscles, I had to see it in my mind, I have to have a depiction how it looks like, where it's located, what it does...
I don't envy you in that case. Indeed at your studies you have to know also some historical facts. It's just necessary...

But nooooo! I know a girl who really suffers of discalculia, that means she's not able to do math, and she never will!! I think thst's worse than our problem with numbers!
Indeed, and I remember things better when I see, read or write them down. That's true^^ but some professors want that I know in which year a painting was made.. :-S
Me too! XD But I have big probs with math and chemistry, because in both subjects I had horrible teachers who caused me a trauma, really!!!

Have you ever heard of "memory hooks chain"? It's very good method of mnemotechnics when you have to remember chain of numbers. You give numbers from 0 to 9 a look of a thing, animal or so, for example, 0 is an egg, 1 is a candle, 2 is a swan... And so on. These are your "hooks". If now you remember them well, you can start creating a history - funny, weird stories are the best, because we remember better things like that. You have good imaginary, so go the whole hog!
For example: you have to remember a date of painting showing a king. It was painted at 1207. You see that painting in your imaginary. Then - there's a candle on his nose and the king squints to look at it! Suddenly appears a swan which starts to flip over the painting. Then it become an egg, extraordinarily big egg. Then the egg is cracking and you can see a scythe, which destroys everything it can.
I know how it works when a teacher treats you badly... But now it's over and you don't have to learn these subjects anymore
