Personality: Seemingly cold and closed off to the new world she awoke in, Adhira is unsure of how well she is suited for the world. She is full of spice, and is very headstrong, she tends to power through things rather than deal with some of the emotions it makes her feel. She tries her hardest to ignore her past, yet she is plagued by all that she endured every breathing moment, and because of it she doesn't let anyone in or show that they affect her. Being reborn in a way caused many details of her past life to become fuzzy or completely disappear, though the traumatic things she went through refuse to leave her mind.
Adhira lost her first and only foal in a freak accident, and never forgave herself or the world around her for taking her child from her. She suffered abuse from her childs sire, as he had no sympathy for the mare and blamed her for 'allowing' his heir to die. Eventually she parted ways with him, though not without consequences.
Quirks: Being around foals causes her to shut down, bringing forth flashbacks to her past and her own foal that she lost. She doesn't know how to deal with them or the emotions she feels, and as a result she comes off very snappy and cold.
Dislikes: There's a lot from her past she's grown to resent, though she isn't sure if they've followed her into the new world...

Introduction: There was a heavy dragging, and a dull rasp as Adhira rose from the sands along the bank of the oasis, almost a complete reverse action of the quicksand that had consumed her before.
She coughed up the rough sand that had filled her lungs, and shook her head to clear her ears.
"Welcome back Adhira," a chirp came from above her, and she whipped her head up to see her companion perched in the scraggly tree above her. The phoenix was as stunning as the day he joined her side, only his eyes and the pale feathers on his face showing his age. "I'm glad you have rejoined me once more. Come, we have much to catch up on." He took to the sky, leading Adhira away from the oasis and into the unfamiliar world.
