This definitely captures Roche's usual demeanor. Β I think the lighting is perfect, giving him the halo effect. Β He's so damn confident in all he does. Β The touches of color really enhance this. Lovely!

He is, that's why I wanted him staring right forward, he has no doubt. It's his way or the highway. Also I secretly think Roche would not mind at all being depicted as a Saint, would encourage it in fact.

My pleasure. I'm sorry I broke his nose though, but Vernon is tough, he can handle it! I actually don't think Vernon would object to being sanctified, he perceives himself as fighting for a larger goal, but I loved when I found the angle.

The light didn't come easy this time. But once I got this idea of making him a bit like an Orthodox icon it worked.

I've browsed through your work very quickly, and I'd say you have no problem with light, but must try to dare shadow. It's the same thing really. Use a colored shadow, not black. It fits your style better.
