Well the hunt is on again. My artist in Brazil just quit my project because his agent found something more lucrative for him. That's the third artist to back out on me. Oh well, every set back is an opportunity to make things better.

Tonight I went out to my folks for dinner and board games it was quaint and refreshing, but besides that I had an idea. If we can get an agent to represent the entire project and everyone involved then we can actually send this to Vertigo (which was my first choice anyway!) because even though they don't except unsolicited submissions they do look at submissions given to them by an agent. I'm going to do some research into it, but tell me what you think okay. thanks.

its not that i'm not interested...i'd have to quit my job at wildstorm to work for darkhorse and it would have to worth it financially, i dnt know how much darkhorse would pay me

That's true, Dark Horse doesn't list their page rates online, and until the project is picked up it would be uncertain. Also for the proposal we would be asking you to draw the first eight pages without compensation. But everyone who has signed up to do the project has agreed to this. So far Leanne Buckley is doing cover art [link] , Justin Yang is doing inks [link] , Jorge Gonzalez is out colorist [link] and Brant W. Fowler is lettering [link] Our penciler is Alisson Rodrigues [link] but his agent just got him some short term work so I don't even know when we'll get started. You are like ten times better than him. If the series gets picked up it would be steady work for three years. That seems to be the selling point for everyone else, besides my script. The story is pretty good it's a preacher style story. I already have the first nine months written. Anyway I'm babbling. If you want I can send you a copy of issue one's script for you to read. But no pressure, like I said I will work with you some day. If taking a jump to another studio freaks you out don't worry about it. You're a cool guy and that is all that matters.

That's great I'm glad you have some offers. Don't worry about my comic then. My artist is pretty dang good as is. I just really wanted to work with you. But again don't sweat it. Take care.
