Ah Blue's Clues... The Nick Jr. show that needs no introduction. Even with all the Nostalgia the franchise gives us...let me address the Elephant in the room. I was born around the time Joe was the host and to say everyone missed Steve would be the understatement of the century.

I don't have an issue with ANY of the Blue's Clues hosts. If it makes you feel better I did have some DVDs that have Steve episodes (Granted most of them were mainly for the Blue's Room spinoff) so put down your torches and pitchforks.

Honestly I'm surprised that Joe hasn't mentioned to Steve or Josh in guest appearances that he's had a "Rough history" with the viewers (At Least that I'm aware of). I often see Joe as an example of the trope of a long running series suddenly replacing a beloved character that may or may not cause the fanbase to be enraged by the change. Some other examples being how Family Guy recently gave Stewie a new baby rival in the form of Doug after killing off Bertram several seasons earlier and how they announced that Ash is no longer going to be the Anime Protagonist for Pokémon (However with Ash it's different because he can come back later in the series finally aged up)

Fun Fact: Joe's played by the same guy as Bot from Team Umizoomi
