If you stare closely in the backround you can see an Autobot symbol and a TFA logo up in the top left corner... whatever purpose that serves I dunno

That's what the animator said.
My theory is that Sari has basically played her main role in the series and therefore, her role will be more limited. I guess you could say she will weave her way throughout the rest of the series.
