Description
Most people look at snails in disgust. There is a place in my town where snails seem to leave their houses. The houses are sticked to the wall with no snail in it. When you look at the house more precisely, you can see patterns in it. Isn't it wonderful?

measured

this little snail
for instance
it lives its life
movement free
under shade
amongst wet moss
barely seen
unoticed really
meandering
though content
all the same
then
one day
its time went to sleep
became dream
unknown
unseen
except
for that one
wet day
when winter sunlight
touched its home
caught by eyes
then footsteps
drew closer
in hand
this prize
seen empty
alone
no one home
a look
lament
palm of hand
open

it became

The patterns on it are truly beautiful! I love the details and composition here, and the Black and White adds a soft touch to it. A interesting title could be "Patterns of a Little House", but I also like the lack of title here. It gives a open door to the imagination flows

Rarely, there are snails around the outside walls in my house. I rarely get to see them... but when I do, it's because it's curious seeing their shells.
