The image is clear, its original and the technique its a positively brilliant image. I think what gets me most about this photo is the impact, it is positively adorable. I love the description that you added on saying how they were brave enough to leave their mother for about a meter. They do certainly appear to be little explorers. I love the look captured in their eyes, they look so curious, innocent,. Those expressions seem to say the world is new to them and they will eventually explore everywhere. Nice shot (though I'm not a photographer, so I'll put this in the comments rather than critique) I like that the one on the right is looking rather curiously at you and is in a somewhat protective pose. Also agree with the comment below that the far background is perhaps a little large to the top of the photo and it does detract a little from the subject, especially when there is a 'fore' background present in the ground to the rear which is already blurred. Nice work overall

Beautiful photo, Olivia. You captured the textures of the duckies so wonderfully, they are just so fluffy and adorable. They look so innocent and that's another thing you captured beautifully. I'm no good at critiques, so I'll post this in the comments, plus I don't feel that i am in a position to be giving a much better photographer a critique, but the only thing that I would give you constructive criticism on is that the background, even though it puts focus on the duckies, for me, it actually really takes away from the photo. It's distracting in the fact that it's so big and empty and moodless (and this is just MY opinion) that, like I just said before, takes away from the overall quality of the photo. I think part of it is the way the photo is cropped and and the amount and location of the negative space. I think having a less blurry background with some identifiable features like trees and blades of grass would give more life to the photo. Or even if you could capture the morning/afternoon sunlight (if it was even sunny out- lol). The muted, murky green background is just kinda blah compared to those little cuties that are so full of life. I would at least love to see the texture of the grass they're standing on. Makes the content of the photo seem much more tangible. But, what do I know, I'm just an amateur lol and you have a very distinctive style that is wonderfully you ^^
