It's been a while since I've uploaded something now. I don't know exactly why, but it's probably just lack of inspiration and imagination. The good thing about making pictures, however, is that you have absolutely no hurry. I like to relax and wait for ideas to appear instead of pursuing them.This picture was different, because now I actually had a deadline. My teacher came to me one day, saying that he wanted me to make up something for the theme "The Future In Our Hands", so that the piece could represent our school or something like that. I'm not exactly sure, but it was something like this.
I guess I'm pretty pleased with the final outcome, though there are some details I'm not too fond of. But I won't mention them here. I prefer to let people discover flaws by themselves and give me some constructive critique instead of me telling them what's wrong. Nevertheless, you're not obliged to give me critique. Comment the way you want.
The hands that you see on the picture, are of my sister and her son. I hope you like it.

Et par ting.. Det ser ikkje ut som om den nedre delen av pæra er belyst, i forhold til den øverste delen. Også måten handa er lyst opp på, der er noke litt rart, men det kan hende at begge tinga ej nevnte er heilt naturlig

Ej veit ikkje heilt om det første du sa e heilt naturlig, for der måtte ej trickse litt sjøl. Og ej ana rett og slett ikkje korsen lyset ville fordelt sej på den nedre delen, så tok ej skudd i mørket
Men måten handa e opplyst på e faktisk ekte. Fra pæra og ned e bildet et reint fotografi.

Well, actually the light bulb was attached to a lamp, so I could make it glow. It was the mother who held the lamp, and when we turned the light on, the baby was eager to hold, so that it looks like it actually held the bulb.

Interesting concept, the idea of growth of a young human, assisted by an older one. Technically it looks great, the lighting works well and black and white is appropriate.

For det først : Slik ej ser det burde kanskje handa til Marte ikkje vøre med på bilde, men det hadde sikkert vore vanskleg sidan det er snakk om Ravn , som er ein baby
For det andre: Kunne kaskje vore litt mindre lys? på pæra altso. Men det er berre ein bagatell

Tanken va først å kun ha handa til Ravn, som du sa. Men ditta viste sej å vere vanskelig sia han ikkje he kontroll, hehe. Ej prøvde i tillegg å croppe det til, men fann ut at ei aleine babyhand såg veldig unaturlig og litt på tryne ut. Ej syns også at handa til Marthe styrka en måte å sjå bildet på, om man tenke på Development som i å føre kunnskap vidare gjennom nye generasjona, sia ho hjelpe han på en måte.
Mindre lys hakje ej tenkt på faktisk. Men ej tru ej he det sånn som det e no. He mistanka om at viss ej minka på lyset fra lyspæra, ser det ikkje ut som at den lyse av sej sjøl
