Hi Olly, I really like your Aceo's, especially this one. How do you ever manage to do this kind of detail on such a small area.

Thank you! I do really little thumbnail sketches of what ever idea I have in mind, and then lightly re-sketch it onto the card to see how it will look roughly. I pretty much wing it from there.

I'm going to see if I can take a picture of it and have that turn out better, especially since I want to make prints of all my ACEOs so I can sell at conventions. My scanner absolutely destroyed the color on one of my pale watercolor pieces (which is why I haven't put up yet) so I really need to address this problem before I can try to make prints of anything.

I know that feeling. I'm also having that problem with my digital art, for some reason whenever I post anything all the colors are significantly darker than they were whilst working....

It want to say that the brightness of your screen while you're working is somehow different from when you aren't, but I don't think that makes sense. Maybe you have a brighter color setting in your art program that differs from actual computer settings.

Uh, I have no clue why that would happen, though it is possible. I'll look in to it, it's incredibly annoying... Come to think of it, it may just be the color scheme of DA compared to the scheme of my Photoshop console...
