Hi, thanks for submitting to #Belle-Art .I'm part of the group's staff (and as voted by members, they would also like us to critique the deviations in that folder) so here it goes:
First of all, I enjoy the sepia toning. I think it adds a little bit of a retro feel to the image. As far as the editing, the blue effect creates a dreamy feel. Of course, any blur used will ruin the realism of the skin's texture, but I will view it as part of the effect here.
Regarding the model's pose, I find it sensual and interesting. It's not a clichΓ© position, so that is a good thing. The model looks relaxed and confident.
The softness of the skin makes a contrast with the wavy texture of the hair. Keeping the background simple, clean and darker makes the model stand out even more. However, there is this area of the background, near her leg, that I would clean up too.
Regarding the gloves, I must admit I like the idea of her wearing them. But I don't like the type of gloves. Maybe something more lacy or with fewer creases would have worked better.
About shadows, I would have liked a smoother transition, softer shadows, especially around the her left eye ,the knee and arm. Those two last areas have "blown out" shadows, with so much contrast the details under them are hidden.
I would suggest removing the white border, only keeping the black one.
