As my eyes scroll from the top to bottom I was wowed, completely. It tricks you into thinking it's a boring, common portrait but when you look at it fully it's simply breath-taking.

Very cool. ^^ It reminds me of a sort of sentimental picture we've got of my aunt and I on Ellis Island and behind us is a perfect view of the Twin Towers before they fell down. Just brought that to mind. =3 Great job. ^^

I remember that view from a visit to NYC shortly after the WTC opened.

hahaha. i like poza's comment. amusing.
the building looks so inhuman though. i've always identified the empire state building as a monolithic structure signifying the gluttony of man... but that's just me i guess. it is a brilliant image none the less, and poses a question that challenges the preexisting beliefs behind the relationship between humans and creations such as this.

Glad that the title was thought provoking. I strive to have all my art to be thought provoking so I am glad it made you think deeper. Yes buildings are inanimate objects and the empire state is filled with humans who fill these structures...so even though the building is real in a sense but not alive...it is filled with life by the humans that created it. It is a commentary in a sense. Glad you went the extra mile to think more deeply about it...and thank you for the wonderful compliment...glad you love it.
