"I-I'm a failure; I'm a failure d-dad! I-I had one thing to do a-and I screwed up!"

Jonathan was terrified of messing up this task. He wanted to help and save the town, but he feared that he would mess it up. At first, Jonathan was unwilling to go out, since Kepler was assigned to someone else. Once he was assigned to Dane however, he was a bit more willing to leave safety. They got to the area where they should pour the potion, but as Jonathan was pouring it out, a pitiful tried to jump him, and he dropped the bottle. Dane killed the monster easily enough, but Jonathan broke down, crying and saying how much of a failure he was.
He didn't notice that the potion was slowly inching away from where it had spilled on the ground.
