I mean, right down to the amounts of character designs and writing process our styles are nearly identical. Obviously not the actual art style, I'm a lot more sketchy than you when it comes to the finished product.

Eh, I'm more or less the same about myself but I get enough criticism from one of my close friends that I don't need to anymore. XD
I just do whatever and kinda chill, y'know? Keeps me more or less sane, or at the very least the same level of insanity.

True that. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that everyone is apparently judged by their ability to draw people for whatever reason, and I happen to be not-hyper-good at that. I'm not TERRIBLE and I know that, but still. For example this: unstablereactor.deviantart.com…

Like, I tried really hard on that. I thought I did well and all my friend can think to say is "You messed up on the face." Now, this is a person who watches anime regularly and I was pretty damn sure he should know THAT IS HOW ANIME FACES LOOK AT AN ANGLE. In addition he knows the character and show and I went off the official ref sheet, so whatever.
(Akame ga Kill is a pretty good show.)

I watch anime that people probably don't even know. but I know anime face angles, I just can't draw them very well.

But, like it's not TERRIBLE right? Like, the face is decent, right? I just kinda want some positive reinforcement here on that at least because I thought this was at least an improvement over previous work. 
What anime do you mean? Like, I watch a LOT of anime. More than people would assume anyway, and more than just mecha. XD
You draw side-angle and straight-on really well, I think you could do other angles pretty well with enough practice. The ones you've done before have been cool, so if that's any indication.

It's not horrible at all. If you want to see horrible, you should see the original Crystalsus design! And/or my Kirby Comic from 6th Grade. Those are terrible, trust me.
*shrug* I sketch with pen too much to care. Over Christmas break I may practice angles. ( )
