What started out as an experiment turned into one of my favorite drawings I've done in a while. I'm getting so sick of the media shoving the idea that super anorexic skinny is the only "beautiful" out there. While I don't think my art promotes that idea, I wanted to break away from the "traditional" idea of beauty and start drawing my girls more natural. This is my first attempt, and I think she came out pretty cute.People need to learn how to respect and love all body types as being beautiful, and more improtantly, people need to learn how to love themselves.

I definitely agree with you about the media. I know too many friends that tell me they think they're fat, when I really find them to be attractive. People now adays are definitely pulling a negative image of themselves away from the media.
