As a point to note, the UNSC doesn't require any form of device (mass relay) to travel across the galaxy. They also build larger ships than any race in Mass Effect is even allowed to. (by the council) They also build more of them. Given the mathematics, a standard MAC gun is also more powerful than the largest guns on the largest ships in the Alliance fleet, and the standard gun is whats placed on the frigate, their smallest capital ship. Their largest capital ship on the other hand (infinity) has 4, much larger versions of those guns that can fire simultaneously, and their newest cruiser type can fire three shots at once. The kinetic weapons the UNSC can throw at reaper ships would likely rip them to pieces.
Also, Reaper technology is what all the races in mass effect built their tech off of, which the Reapers did deliberately, allowing for them to never need to change their defenses. the UNSC still uses nukes, which the alliance didn't. Its anyones guess what nukes might do.
And in the event that if the reaper fleets do actually outnumber the UNSC ships (given the UNSC's ability to churn out and repair new ships I rather doubt it) then the UNSC wins via hit and run tactics. Slip-space gives UNSC automatic win over any Mass Effect fleet simply cause they don't need no relays. Hell, they could just nuke the relays and kill any reapers nearby.
As for on the ground I don't see that going the Reaper's way either. Mass Effect firearms may be fancy by shooting grains of sand, but all in all they still have the same effect as a bullet, and overheat far quicker than any combustion based firearm. Between 61 caliber sniper rifles (Yes that is the caliber used, Its an anti tank rifle), Spartan Lasers, homing rockets, and generally better extended use firearms the UNSC rules over the mass effect guys. And the UNSC is also very good at adapting. Give em 2 weeks fighting reaper ground forces and they'll combine their tech with their own, and now the reapers are screwed.
Also...Spartans. Game over. Spartan IIs, Spartan IIIs, and Spartan IVs. 3 levels of super soldiers fighting guys that non enhanced soldiers (Shepherd and pretty much everyone in that series) are going to turn those reaper ground units into wall decorations.
Seriously, this isn't a fight. I get that everyone wants to like the alliance guys for trying, but their fleet as a whole is inferior to UNSC ships. They may have shinier weapons and armor, but in terms of overall ability to take and dish out damage, UNSC has the edge by a long shot.

my money's on the reapers they can follow com traffic to the different worlds and harvest the people on those worlds and the mac guns won't do much to a reaper considering three Everest class dreadnought's can't even scratch a reaper capital ship and there guns fire at 1 third the speed of light which is 100,000 km a second. As for a ground war again my money is on the reapers for reaper ground attack ship that can take out heavy frigates with a signal shot the marauder can mutate it's allies to make them stronger and has kinetic barriers I could go on but yeah my money is on the reapers and some one did the math a new reaper is made from each cycle which is every 50,000 years this is a capital reaper made from the dominate race the lesser races are turned in to troop transports or destroyer class reapers the people who did the math came to about 100,000 reapers most likely exists around Sheppard's time that might be a little less and I mean little less but never the less they have a lot of fire power and numbers on there side.

Seriously? The Reapers have NO WAY of knowing where the UNSC is because the UNSC does not require use of the Mass Relays to get across the galaxy. Not to mention, Reaper lasers only have a yield of 132 - 450 Kilotons of TNT. This is completely dwarfed by UNSC SMACs (Super Magnetic Accelerator Cannons) which, equipped with Mk. V super macs fire a 3000-ton ferric-tungsten round at 119991698.32 metres per second. At 3000 metric tons (3'000'000 Kilograms), and using the formula KE = 0.5 * m * v2, then the energy of each shot should equal, 0.5 * 3'000'000 * 11'991'698.322, which equals 2.15701E20 joules of force. Given that a Kiloton = 4'184'000'000'000 joules, then 2.15701E20 / 4'184'000'000'000 is equal to 51'553'834.34 kilotons, which is 51553.83 megatons, or 51.56 gigatons of TNT. These guns are outfitted on all of the UNSC's Orbital Defense platforms, which are stationed in orbit all around Earth, the home fleet has a total of 300 of them. These MACs would tear through Reaper shields and armor like a piece of paper. This isn't even considering the UNSC's use of missiles and nuclear armaments, which include HAVOK nukes (30 megatons), NOVA bombs ( nuclear warheads encased in a lithium triteride shell. These bombs are capable of destroying entire fleets, and planetary bodies the size of the moon), and so much more.
Ground-troop wise, UNSC would easily be able to adapt and destroy. Got a reaper Destroyer on land? Send in a couple of Wolverine tanks and a Mammoth tank and you've got yourself Destroyer alamode. Collector problem? Send in strike teams and the marines. Oculus problem? Anti-aircraft batteries. The UNSC is far superior in ground unit size, I haven't even begun to list the vast amount of ground vehicles they have (aside from the two I listed earlier). Also, give the UNSC some time and they'd easily be able to reverse-engineer some of the Reaper tech, just as they did with the Covenant and the Forerunners. No competition, UNSC wins.
The UNSC also has ships significantly larger than any reaper, including the Infinity-class cruisers (5,000+ meters in length, 3.5 miles), Phoenix-class ships (2.5 km in length), and the majority of the Halcyon cruisers are a little over half of the size of a reaper.
If the UNSC could take on an army of alien extremists with multiple hundreds of thousands of ships and a holy city the size of the moon, along with an ancient alien with a ship the size of the Death Star, I'd say the UNSC have the upper hand by a longshot.

Are we going with post war UNSC or pre war UNSC.
Either way, reapers wont know the location of any UNSC world, indoctrination takes months and you have to be in district contact with the reaper. The UNSC has faced tougher opponents the covenant who can snipe ships from over 100 thousand km away. The UNSC will drown the reapers in blood. And no reapers don't have infinite ships or hundreds of thousands of ships for the people who will keep making claims and not backing up them up.
But if it was post war era UNSC such technology and give them pre war era numbers, essentially post war UNSC technology in 2524 before the war against the covenant. Then UNSC stumps easily, if is with post war numbers the UNSC will lose because of low number of ships, but given them time to recover they stump.
Oh and by the way, the 30km/s mac figure comes from the commonwealth stalwart light fright from an engagement with a covenant vessel in the year 2525. Its not like every UNSC is equipped with a stalwart frigate's MAC from the year 2525. But no other figures for the MAC are out their other then the infinity's 50mt per MAC.
