I could definitely see Shantae crushing on Link. Though, I like to add Pit in the mix and create a sort of one-way love triangle where Pit crushes on Shantae, Shantae crushes on Link, and Link is blissfully oblivious to the whole thing.
But yeah, Shantae x Link could be adorable. Especially if it's Oracle Link (who is technically also Past Link and Awakening Link). You know, because Game Boy Color and all.
I wouldn't mind a top-down Classic Zelda-style Shantae. Maybe they could make a Zelda game with DLC playable characters, and have Shantae be one of them?
