I love the Baku... and I also love that I never have to draw them again.

Panel 2: I do. Myobu has told me of your quest.

Panel 3: Though I commend your bravery, I feel I must warn you of the dangers you are to face. Not many remember what the curse is... but I am one of the oldest beings, as old as dreams themselves... and I remember.

The curse of the worshippers is a curse of hatred and death. Those who travel through these lands inherit their curse left behind. It is a curse that makes any beast without magic lose their heart... and become a demon. Out there in the cursed lands, demons know your course and will seek to divert it. Your night terrors are a result of this truth.

And by this path, they will go on to spread the curse further still... until all the world is covered in the worshipper's blood. It starts first with your dreams... corrupting your mind until you lose all semblance of who you were. No one, not even I, can stop this. This is the fate that awaits you.

Whether or not you make it to the sacred mountain, this fate is doomed to befall you. It is the price you pay for the sake of this journey... but it is not too late yet. Your heart is still untouched... you could return home to safety... or is this peril worth your sanity?

Panel 6: Then I shall pray... for your success.

Panel 7: Until Myobu's magic fades away from you, I shall vow to protect your dreams. The rest is up to you. Keep your heart strong, and you will do well. Good luck... Fern.
