The story begins Lillie invited May, Koharu, and Lana with their mothers to visit the A'ther Foundation, the eight girls enjoyed a beautiful day but to their surprise a mysterious pokemon that was in the area used its powers to switch bodies between the girls so that the girls became each other's mothers and vice versa.

The reactions to the swap were different, most of them were confused and disturbed by their new body, such as Caroline who didn't know how she would return to her husband like this. Or Lana who actually found the swapping amusing. Lusamine explained that they needed to adapt to their current bodies until they found a way to switch back.
