Ubuntu Human inspired visual style for Windows Vista.I don't use Linux at all myself, but I've always loved the look of Ubuntu, clean and simple.
Now with matching details pane.
Removed user picture in start menu.

I tried to use it, but it made Vista look like Windows 98 but brown.

I love your theme but i can't use it because i have my taskbar docked on the side of my screen instead of at the bottom. This causes the taskbar to turn black and then the start button with your ubuntu icon doesn't match and the font is unreadable black on black.
Everything else looks great.
PS, I am using basic because i have it installed in a virtual machine, no aero.

2 things I would like to see,
1) An alternate with the gnome foot for the start button,
2) An earthy color, similar to murrinafancyclearlooks.

I really love the teme, you have avoided all usability errors, and I like that it is a well thought blend of Human and Aero, not just ad-hoc copying most of skinners do!
Also, having a good old style skin with DWM running is a nice thing as well

Also i would hack/change the browseui.dll (=back/forward buttons) to an orange color because blue just doesn't suit the default ubuntu style.

Sub lime marriage of Ubunto and Aero, though I would also like to see at least a /slightly/ glossy taskbar. The flat taskbar reminds me to much of the Windows Standard theme I had been stuck for a couple of days, which I wasn't too pleased with really.

right now i'm really loving how the windows have turned out but the taskbar seems a bit too...bland? Maybe the Ubuntu logo in an orb?
I personally rather have a smooth/glossy taskbar than the flat one you have now.
either way, i'm excited to see how it will come out in the end

The batch file restarts the themes services, so when I edit a file in my visual style I just have to run it instead of reapplying the visual style.

Looking really good so far, a nice merge between the 2 and pulled off very smoothly which i think lifts it aways from some of the other Ubuntu skins on offer. Good job, I look forward to seeing this finished.

Change the minimize, maximize and close buttons to something more like ubuntu and you should be good to go also the forward at back buttons.

I like how you are blending the two themes together (Aero and Ubuntu) rather than going for a straight port of the Ubuntu style. I also wanted to say thanks for the comment on my page that answered my Sidebar question. Cheers!
