It looks like you combined the original Star Wars Clone Wars animation style (as in the 11-minute ones) and merged it with Scott Pilgrim style drawing.

Gilliam's armor (or FE armor in general) really isn't all the shiny to begin with, though, right? I think it looks fantastic.
I never used Gilliam, but he sure does have one hell of a distinctive face. Fo' serious.

Haha, yeah, I'm not much of an armor knight kid. Slow units bum me out. As do not-super-sexy units. I liked Wendy a lot, Oswin was okay sometimes, and I always use Gatrie, but the one time I tried out Gilliam he was just too slow for me, and that plus his not being a SEX BOMB just made me give him up forever. (Even though I do think he looks pretty cool and badass and fun and all.)
But I'm one of those shallow people who only likes to use the pretty characters in my army, so...yeah.

Hey yeah, I actually didn't realize that Gilliam totally has a samurai face! Gotta love that spiky hair, receeding hairline, and giant, bushy eyebrows. I'm suddenly reminded of Todou from Code Geass. NIPON BANZAI.
All hail da Dragonfly and her love of unloved characters! Aw, poor Gilliam. So missunderstood. Though I actually like how you pulled the armor. The curves you put in the shading really added a nice, cylidrical sort of depth to it. I also like how well you handled the lighting! Especially how you handled his big ol' angular face.

I kept thinking of Tohdoh while drawing his face. Though Gilliam couldn't use his face to stab some poor fool.

He is the original Iron Man! I would literally make him stand in the middle of enemies without a weapon, just to see if anyone could hurt him. So far, Zombie dragons can do it... a little.
