Description
Three birds! One Stone!1. Pirate! For Talk Like a Pirate Day! I needed to replace my icon of Tiamat/Titania to a TLAP appropriate icon.
2. Practice lineless! I've picked up some tips and advice since I last tried it.
3. Any excuse to draw Tiamat!
Coincidentally the PIRATE class of Fire Emblem equip axes. Although they're not present in Path of Radiance.

Your lineless is looking very, very nice. If I tried to imitate this, like first poster I'd probably go for vector. I do wonder if you make line-ful sketches first, or ...shoot, I have no idea how that process would go.
As for the character, yay cleavage!
...I mean from the axe! The axe looks handy and dangerous; this Tiamat is well-equipped.

I do start off with a liney sketch, although I don't follow it strictly. One of the reasons I like lineless so much is how I can carve and alter the blocked shapes.
That was Tiamat. I was in a phase where I was drawing various FE prepromotes as ickle unpromotes. Lately I've been doing the opposite.

Wow, T makes for a REALLY great pirate. I had no idea! Still, that's awesome! And it makes me feel bad I did nothing really special to celebrate talk like a pirate day-I'll have to do something belated, or try again next year.
