Twizel Bridge is a mediaeval bridge spanning the River Till in Northumberland.Its arch is 90ft (27 metres) wide, reinforced by chamfered ribs, and from its completion in 1511 until 1727 it was the largest single span arching Britain.
If you look at the top of the hill you can just make out Twizel Castle in the trees.
