Oh dear, I'm rooting for Princess Luna, but I fear Sailor Moon is far superior.

In the manga, yeah. She's a lot stronger in there than the anime, the 2nd big villain she killed, abit with help, was an evil living planet made of evil energy.

In the anime too but mainly because she'd "befriend" Luna to win ^^ the anime hardly ever showed her killing human-like enemies but I liked how in the manga she had more depth. She's had to attack Mamoru and her friends before :/ oh well. Two versions both enjoyable, more to love lol

I think the anime had some good ideas, but I prefer the manga. Also, the anime seemed to be one of those shows that even though it had the heroes killing monsters left and right, it seemed to have an aversion to them killing villains.
Also, isn't beating people up and making them your friend more of meme you do with Nanoha?

I agree the manga is definitely the best. When I was young I watched the anime as I got older I read the manga. The anime makes it too silly, and the darker themes aren't really dark :/ that's why I'm excited for the new anime. It's supposedly going to be like the manga.

You lost me at beating people up and making them your friend, and what's a meme or a Nanoha?

In the manga she stabbed Mamoru with the Moon Stone Sword when he became Endy and was under Beryls control, and then she proceeded to stab herself(a repeat of her suicide on the moon as princess serenity, definitely wish the anime had shown this, made their relationship more.. I dunno depth then the lack of depth in the anime.)
She also killed all the senshi when Galaxia had killed them and recreated their bodies with the use of their Sailor crystals turning them into Galactica Senshi under her control.

That's why she'd probably beat up Luna lol. In the manga she is more of a fighter.

IF that's what you meant by the fight comment, that's why I said the manga was darker.

Or if it was about my comment on Usagi's befriended Luna she wouldn't beat up Luna lol she'd only befriend her. In the anime she typically doesn't beat any of her enemies up, she just uses the crystal to cleanse them, well the Akayashi sisters anyway lol. With Nehelania and Galaxia she didn't even put up much of a fight, she just used her emotions to understand them. That's what I meant about her befriending Luna lol if it were the anime version

The series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has a meme that occurred because the titular character developed a desire to befriend the resident dark magical girl Fate, but of course defeated her by blasting her in the face with a giant laser first. Since then, people make memes about her "befriending" people by beating the tar of out of them, even that only happened once in the first and third anime series, and she never actually beat any of the antagonists in the 2nd series.

Actually an anime series, but there's a couple manga set after it. I recommend avoiding the Nanoha Force manga since from what I've heard, the plot basically consists the protagonists trying to kill a bunch a generic psychopaths and failing because the psychos keep pulling new powers out of nowhere.

What's the anime like then? It's rare to have an anime series that didn't start out as a manga. I know of a few anime that came first and then came a manga but very very few. Gundam Wing actually started as a radio show ^^ which is probably more rare then either anime or manga haha! So the manga set that came after, it's not a continuation right?

Genetics, psychopaths and new powers? Sounds pretty cool already. Since the anime came first I should start there then. I'm one of those people that has to see all the different versions of a series. Since I mainly write fanfiction, I'll like some things from and the anime, some from the manga and kind of combine them for my story^^

Nanoha is one of the few cases where the anime came first.
They psychos in Force might sound cool, but most of the fanbase hates because they NEVER lose. The series had a change in tone with different weapons being used to specifically to combat them, and they prove completely useless. They're also hated since the three anime series have antagonists that have some really well-defined backstories and motivations, but the ones in Force are just generic villains that murder people cause they're evil and fans think they're well, dull, and want to see them lose not because of the usual reasons you want to see a villain lose, but because they're sick of them. Oh and the series shoe-horns in a new main character in favor of Nanoha just cause the writer felt like it, at least the other manga decided to focus on Nanoha and Fate's adopted daughter (there's a lot hints toward them being an item).

Yep actually she could destroy the entire galaxy if she wanted to. She can also bring people back to life with her crystal, heal, with her crystal the people of Crystal Tokyo don't get sick and they live vastly longer lives. Like elves almost. (Chibiusa is actually over 900 years old^^) Apparently you can eat as much as you want and not get fat either lmfao. Her powers are immense. I dunno about Luna's powers in MLP, I haven't seen much of it, I'm from a the original MLP generation so it's hard for me to watch the new version.

Luna from the new MLP and Luna from Sailor Moon in her human form might look similar if Luna from MLP had a human form. You should draw that ^^ Let me know if you need Sailor Moon Luna reference pics c:

Given that, I'm not sure Luna would win. But...I'll try and name as many of her abilities as possible.

Besides basic unicorn telekinesis and pegasus flight (and possibly earth pony stamina), Luna can control the weather of the sky above her with ease (especially lightning), bring inanimate objects to life (like her cloak or the toy spiders), and blow others back with her voice at full volume. She can also enter the subconscious realm (AKA dreams) and even alter her form's appearance.

Well I guess Luna wouldn't be likely to win then :/ Usagi also has the capability for flight, in the manga all the senshi float and have extreme stamina and can leap buildings in a single bound, most land gracefully but in the anime Usagi often falls on her butt lol she also has wings for more basic flight. Usagi can bring people back to life with her crystal, considering her position as the Neo Queen and then as Cosmos she probably has her senshi's basic abilities seeing as she can control time when she sends the Sailor Quartet back to their future with a simple wave of her staff lol. She doesn't have the ability to animate objects and she can't blow back people with her voice, unless you could her sonic cries lmfao when Usagi gets frightened or upset her cries become sonic and can injure those around her, in extreme duress she also has a beam of light. Rini has the same thing in the R season but her defense mechanism only appears when her crescent insignia does. USagi has entered dreams before and was able to control and defeat them. There have beem a few episodes about dreams, an entire saga involving dreams with Queen Nehelania(I imagine if Luna were a human she's look somewhat like Queen Nehelania)and the movie with Madame Vidane where she wanted to throw the entire world into sleep starting with the kids. Usagi has her Luna Disguise Pen and can alter her appearance to whatever she wants. It's more prominent in the manga, and only in one episode did Usagi's hair and eyes change color and they cut that entire episode from the Dub version :/ Usagi looked awesome with green hair lol! Minako in the manga has her own disguise tool her crescent compact. In the manga the girls at points disguised themselves as boys. In the manga when Cosmos goes back into the past she needs to get close to her past self Usagi so she disguises herself as an adorable little girl, ChibiChibi. I like the anime version to but the original is almost always my favorite but I adore both ^^

I'm seeing a lot of similarities between them but Luna looks more like Nehelania or Luna(Cat from Sailor Moon) in human form. Sailor Moon Luna's human form is beautiful! Long dark bluish purple wavy hair and pale blue eyes. She appeared in the anime only in the movie but in the manga she was around more. Diana her daughter also had a human form but since she's young her cat ears and tail remain in her human form ^^

Tell me more about this new My Little Pony sounds like I should watch it (:

Well...this G4 cartoon has a lot of good life-lessons, interestingly-themed characters, some stereotypes broken, and even an extensive history of the setting (the land of Equestria).

Anyhoo, perhaps a fairer opponent for Princess Luna might be Riku (from Kingdom Hearts), since both are dark-based atoners.

I should start watching it lol sounds awesome ^^ I don't remember the old my little pony being anything but a cute kids show like the original carebears and the original strawberry shortcake.

I haven't played the game Kingdom Hearts but I want to... if only I had a gaming console lol so I don't know about that either^^ I do know everything about Sailor Moon though. Makes me feel old and out of touch when all I know is my first anime and manga 0.0
